Stylish relaxation and environmentally friendly technology
Located on the scenic cliffs of Cornwall, the 5-star boutique hotel incorporates luxury and a close affinity to nature. A relaxed atmosphere, sophisticated cuisine and a lavish spa with lovely views over the sea, combined with an integrated eco-concept. Environmental technology from Hansgrohe SE plays a significant role here.
The Scarlet Hotel, situated a good 80 kilometres west of Plymouth, is the result of three English sisters turning their dream into reality: to create the definitive haven for stressed out city dwellers. With luxury, but without any elite sense of coolness. The 37 rooms look out over the cliffs onto the Atlantic Ocean. Sustainability is guaranteed by the use of durable materials, selected for their eco-friendly properties, and an efficient water recycling system.
Thus the grey water recycling system Pontos AquaCycle 9000* from Hansgrohe ensures that water from showers and bath tubs is recycled as flush-water for toilets and urinals. This multi-stage, resource-saving recycling process works purely biomechanically.
Moreover, Hansgrohe SE also supplied all the mixers for the bathrooms and the spa area. Guests can enjoy shower rain that is inspired by nature thanks to the Raindance AIR overhead showers. The Axor Citterio collection brings discreet luxury to the bathrooms. By means of deliberately open-plan architecture, the bathrooms – most of which have a free-standing bath tub – are integrated into the bedrooms, which all enjoy access to the outside. Therefore the rooms are representative of the philosophy of the Scarlet Hotel: to be a holistic haven for mind, body and soul, and to ensure that guests will enjoy perfect harmony, both internally and externally. Exclusivity, wholly ecological.
