A picnic on the high seas
With a capacity for 2,852 passengers, the Celebrity Equinox is one of the largest ever ships to be built in Germany. In all its luxury, it is also a passenger ship with modern environmental technology, including photovoltaic energy and an LED-based lighting system. When designing its cabins, the American company Celebrity Cruises selected Hansgrohe shower systems and mixers.
Like the AIDA ships, the 317-metre cruise ship giant was built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Emsland, Germany. The Ems river had to be dammed to create the necessary depth to move the ship to the North Sea – one of many extraordinary facts relating to this luxury ship. A 2,000 square metre luscious lawn in the open air on the upper deck invites you to enjoy a picnic on the high seas!
An aromatherapy room and steam sauna in the Persian Garden make it clear that well-being is of key importance on the Celebrity Equinox. This also applies to the bathing culture in the cabins, half of which have an outside view. Hansgrohe Talis S mixers and the Comfort Plus shower panel contribute to the cruise liner’s high quality standard.
